Hatch makes it easy for anyone to plan their finances and achieve their most important goals.
From creating a financial plan to investing your savings and protecting your family. With Hatch you have the tools, resources and support to make sure you're in the best possible financial position.
STEP 1: Discovery Call
Our service starts with a short "Discovery Call" with one of our financial coaches, where we will begin to identify:
Your main life goals - e.g. buying a property, saving for kids or retiring comfortably
Your financial situation - e.g. savings, investments, pensions, income, spend
Don't worry - whatever info you don't have to hand, you can email over afterwards.
STEP 2: Get Your Plan
Using our powerful software, your financial coach will build a financial plan to show how your wealth is set to change over time, and whether you’re on track to achieve your goals.
They will then show you what impact you could have, by doing things differently. This could include saving more, investing, changing pension contributions, obtaining (or switching) a mortgage, or putting in place life insurance.
This ‘initial findings’ meeting will be usually held over the phone, and afterwards, you'll have your own log in to view your plan at any time.
If you have particular uncertainties in your life, your coach will show you different financial plans for different scenarios. Examples might be - whether to buy the house or not, go for promotion or switch companies, or start a family now or later.
STEP 3: Take Action
Once you’ve got a financial plan that shows how you can make the most of your money, it’s time to start putting it into action! Your coach will create an Action Plan for you, breaking everything down into simple steps. Here’s a full list of what’s included in the Hatch service.
Our action plans often start with identifying spend you can cut back without undue pain.
Your coach will talk you through techniques that will make this as easy as possible. They'll also point out the best budgeting and software and apps in the market today.
Savings & Investments
We'll help you save as much as you can, and make sure you're putting in accounts that give the best return.
Plus, you'll have easy access to our online investing tool which provides a powerful, yet low cost, way to grow your wealth as much as possible.
Many people vastly underestimate how much money they will need in retirement. The earlier you start saving, the better off you'll be.
We'll help you work out how much to contribute to your workplace pension, or help you set up a new pension if you need one. We'll put you in touch with a specialist financial adviser if you need more complex help.
Whether you're saving to buy your first property, or looking to remortgage - getting the best deal on your mortgage can save you thousands over the long term. We’ll refer you to a mortgage specialist who can search the whole market to find you the best deal, at no additional cost.
If something bad were to happen to you, the last thing you want to be worrying about is money.
We’ll put you in touch with an insurance and protection specialist to ensure you have the right cover at the lowest possible price.
A written Will is essential to ensure your loved ones are looked after no matter what. As a Hatch client you can get a legally valid Will (provided by one of the UK’s leading Will writing services) easily and at no extra charge.*
STEP 4 - Ongoing Review
It's vital to review your financial plan at least annually, or whenever your life changes.
Have investments and pensions performed as expected? Do you need to reduce investment risk as a large purchase (e.g., house) approaches? If you buy that car - how many more years until you can retire (you'd be surprised!)? Are you thinking about switching job? Stopping work? Having a child? Has something bad happened? The list goes on....and life changes usually occur more often than you'd expect.
You'll have ongoing access to our software, and access to your Financial Coach whenever you need. Your coach will encourage you to review your plan with them at least annually.
